Total Confusion

Ok is anyone else really confused on the whole pod cast thing? How are we suppose to do any home work if its saved on the computer at school? Are we suppose to come up with a script or something? Im  really confused and this is kinda a big project.

Prezi

So we just finished giving our prezi presentations and I thought a lot of them were pretty cool. Prezi is like a whole new way to present that will bring things to life and really get the person to grab a hold of the concept. I think that if we were to work with prezi more it would really be helpful for later in life when we have to pitch something at your job or even for later school work. I am really happy we were able to really dig into this presentation tool because it gave me a totally different outlook on what you can do with a power point.

Slideshows

So we have been learning a lot about slide shows lately and even though i knew a lot before i know a lot more now than i did then. Slideshows are a tool to give presentations but they are not meant to be read off of. You should make your slides interesting and COLORFUL so that it keeps your readers attention. Sometimes it is hard coming up with slides for the audience that has been picked for you because they have very different opinions. You have to take into account that you will never please everybody in your group. That being said...make it your own and go for it!

Something that i learned in class is that it is very hard to focus when everyone is talking!!! But i still got three of my slides done on the presentation!

Today I learned that spreadsheets can be very confusing.... So if anyone can help me figure out how to change the formatting that would be very helpful!!!!! :) :D :D :D :D :D

Character qualities

so this week we learned some character qualities that we are suppose to work on this month. One was determination. This is an important character quality because it is your drive! It is the thing that makes you do the things you do with everything you have, not just half heartedly. So if you are determined to wake your sister up before 8:00 for example then you would do everything in your power to get her up weather it is putting water on her head or screaming through a bull horn you never give up! I hope to apply this to my homework this month so i won't just say i don't get it but find a way! Our second character quality for this month was attentiveness which is paying attention. I do this okay but sometimes i purposely try to get off track cause i really don;t want to do something but i guess these to go hand in hand cause if i have drive and determination then i will strive to be attentive! :) :D :D :D :D
